Prayer- A Kingdom Currency with “Immeasurable Value”
One day I was reflecting on the power of prayer, the might of the Lord, and what He does for those made in His image. I was sitting there in awe of the things He had shown me. How time and time again, through prayer, in seemingly only 1-2 “earthy seconds,” Heaven has already moved on Earth in the spirit. How the Lord truly upholds every promise and covenant that He makes with His chosen people. While talking with the Lord about this, my mind was brought to an article that I had read about the prominent American pastor, Billy Graham. Prior to his passing, he said something that really stuck with me, here is a brief excerpt from Harvest:
“I’m reminded of a statement that Billy Graham made not long before he went to be with the Lord. He was asked if he had any regrets in life. In response, Billy Graham said, ‘I would study more. I would pray more. I would travel less, and I would take less speaking engagements. I took too many of them in too many places around the world. If I had it to do all over again, I would spend more time in meditation and prayer and just telling the Lord how much I adore him and how much I’m looking forward to the time we’re going to spend together in eternity.’”
The words that stuck out to me in his interview were “more time in… prayer.” Billy Graham held a lot of spiritual authority. His words moved masses for Christ. I imagined him praying, and the effect that it would have had in the spiritual. I then imagined what the Lord had taught me about the power of prayer, through my own time with him and intercession for others. While thinking and thanking the Lord for this, I heard the Lord say the words “immeasurable value.” The Lord was referencing the value of prayer and the time spent doing it, from a Kingdom currency standpoint. The Lord then showed me a bag in the spirit. The bag had deposits being made into it, with every passing moment of time spent in prayer. The bag looked like a golden brown money sack, with a draw string at the top, and was positioned slightly open. The drawstrings were not closed or tied. The Lord then said “open to receive.” During prayer, Heaven moves upon the decrees of the Lord to aid God’s people and His Kingdom purposes on this Earth. God’s manifested glory is shown. Every moment in prayer matters.
When praying about this website, the Lord told me to make a page titled “Prayer Vault.” He said that “These prayers go up to the vaults in Heaven.” When you pray, know that you have an active Heavenly Father who sent His one and one son to die for you, so that you pray and war in the spirit from victory. When you pray, know that you are seated in a position of authority, that can never be stolen, killed, or destroyed. When you pray, know that you are investing every moment of that time into a Kingdom currency system of “immeasurable value,” in which Heaven comes to war for God’s children and will on this Earth. When you pray, know that angel armies are literally sent to fight and war on behalf of what you send up. When you pray, know that you are not only changing your life, but the life of every single person you are connected to and will come in contact with in the spiritual, with every single word. Let God be God and watch what He can and will do!
Here are a few bible verses to “ignite your Spirit,” regarding the power of prayer:
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Romans 8:39 KJV
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Darkness doesn’t have the authority or the power to block or hinder your prayers. However, the enemy will happily allow people to believe that lie. Nothing can stop the Lord from hearing your prayer. When I was going through deliverance, there were many times I desperately wanted to hear the voice of the Lord. I felt like Paul in the bible, crying out many times for healing. I also felt like the persistent widow in the courts of Heaven, knowing that the God I serve would one day deliver me. When I cried out, it seemed like everyone else could tell me what He was saying, except me. When someone is consistently experiencing what seems like “blockages,” it generally is linked to the need for deliverance. It is the Lord’s will to communicate clearly with His children. He is a God of clarity. Disorientation, brain fog, confusion, and voices that are not of the Holy Trinity (God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) represent a need for Deliverance & Inner Healing. The enemy also cannot resist the Lord’s response to a prayer, if the Lord chooses to respond. I will share a personal example, and then one from the bible.
Personal Example: One day I was undergoing a deliverance session. At that time, I was likely in my worst state of demonization and was hearing a few words from the Lord periodically, after weeks of prayer and fasting. The woman in the session asked me to ask the Lord a question, and to see how the Lord responded. I began to feel frustrated, as I desperately wanted to hear Him. At that time, it seemed like I wasn’t “getting a response.” However, I learned as time went on that the more sanctified I was, the more clearly I could hear, see, and understand what was of Him. That day, I asked the Lord 3 times the woman’s question, without hearing a response. Then, the woman told me to ask Him a 4th time. Frustrated, I asked Him again, almost in desperation. His response came on the 4th time and has always stuck with me. He said very clearly “I am not limited.”
His response wasn’t the answer to the woman’s question. It was a response to what I needed to heal within my own mindset, to be elevated in my walk with Him and the deliverance journey. At that time, I was going to whoever could fit me into their busy deliverance schedule, within a 2 hour commute. The Lord was teaching me a different way. He was showing me that every day I sought Him, he was healing and delivering me. That in order to walk with God, we must surrender and walk at the pace that He sets. We must accept His healing plan, as it is the power of His Holy Spirit alone that dismantles the darkness at the root. God wasn’t limited by the sessions I could get into, my finances, time, emotions, or anything else in my life. He speaks and creation and opportunities are born. He speaks and decrees that change entire lineages and bloodlines are eternally put into effect.
About a week later I was at church. A church member who I had never met came up to me, shared a vision and some confirmations from the Lord, and then she proceeded within a brief 5-7 minute conversation to uncoil and cast out a snake demon, from my mind. I had ran around for months trying to find the healing that the Lord brought about without any of my input, effort, or understandings. It hit me then what God was trying to teach me. God’s healing isn’t limited to a single deliverance session. It isn’t limited to one individual whose anointing may operate in a certain capacity. It isn’t limited to my own efforts, who I can or cannot book with, and what I do or do not do. If I seek Him I will find Him. The Lord has his own healing plan. He hears and answers every prayer. So- continue to pray!
Example from the Bible: Daniel 10:12 “Then he said to me, Don’t be afraid, Daniel, for from the very first day you applied your mind to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come in response to your words. 13 However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia was opposing me for twenty-one days. But Michael, one of the leading princes, came to help me, because I was left there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to future days.” In this time frame of Daniels life, Daniel was in the process of prayer and fasting for “three whole weeks.” He was doing this on behalf of the sins of the nation that He was standing in the gap for. The Lord heard Daniel’s prayer the very first day, and from the very first prayer. However, it took a high-ranking angel 21 days to get to him, to deliver the Lord’s answer. Why is this? The angel was opposed by a spiritual principality (a high ranking demon), attempting to delay the angels message of the Lord. The angels and Heaven were in their own war, while Daniel was on Earth resisting his own war of doubt and the flesh. Both Daniel and the angels persevered. Persistence breaks resistance. The angel made it to Daniel on day 21 with the message from the Lord. Why was it that Daniel, a highly anointed man who had a strong seer anointing, couldn’t hear or see the Lord’s answer, 21 days into fasting? Daniel had to overcome demonic resistance. He was trying to receive a spiritual response, while being in a war in the spirit. The enemy knew the weight and value of the angels message to Daniel. However, no weapon formed against the Lord’s children prospers (Isaiah 54:17). The message came. Breakthrough occurred. Daniel and God’s chosen people moved forward. This pattern is as true today as it was then. Keep praying. If it takes prayer, fasting, and greater submission- do it. The breakthrough with the Lord is always worth the sacrifice.

“Ancient of Days, fill me with a fresh fire of your Holy Spirit. I thank you and praise you that I am your workmanship. Aid me in understanding You and Your word at deeper levels, all the days of my life. Help me to understand the immeasurable value of prayer, and how You will for me to seek You through prayer. Posture my heart to be in alignment with Your will. Guide my steps and aid me in understanding Your will and plans from a kingdom perspective. I pray that through my prayers, Your manifested glory is shown. I call down Heaven to Earth, in all ways that You would see fit. Amen”
